AccessPORT and AccessTUNER Support for 2010 EDM Vspec GT-R

COBB Tuning is happy to announce AccessPORT support the the 2010 EDM Vspec Nissan GT-R. This update brings European Vspec GT-R enthusiasts the added performance and ease of use of the COBB Tuning AccessPORT. The AccessPORT for the 2010 EDM Vspec is available in both GT-R AccessPORT part numbers: AP-NIS-005 and AP-NIS-006 with TCM control.
Off the Shelf mapping is included with this update and these maps will be automatically installed on your AccessPORT upon updating to the most recent firmware version. Maps can also be downloaded from the GT-R Calibration Page. For more details visit the GT-R map notes page or Firmware Release Notes for AP-NIS-005 or AP-NIS-006.
In addition, 3 new maps for the 2010 Gulf-spec, Vspec GT-R have also been added. Valet Mode, Anti-theft and Stage1 91 Octane or 95 RON are now available for these vehicles via this firmware update or from the GT-R Calibration page.
To update your AccessPORT to 1.6.3.4-2504 firmware, simply open the AccessPORT Manager application, connect your AccessPORT to your computer via the supplied USB cable, navigate to the “Options” menu and then select “Check for BETA Firmware”. Then click on the “Updates” menu icon and follow the on-screen prompts. These new features will be installed automatically. If you do not have AccessPORT Manager, you can find the download link for your free copy on our Support Page.
AccessTUNER Pro and AccessTUNER Race have also been updated to add EDM Vspec compatibility. To use AccessTUNER on your 2010 EDM Vspec simply download AccessTUNER version 1.8.6.0-2504 or later. AccessTUNER Race is available for download for $695. To acquire AccessTUNER Race software, visit the Nissan GT-R AccessTUNER Race Request Form. A COBB Tuning Representative will contact those that submit the form to complete the transaction. AccessTUNER Race software is built to function with a single AccessPORT, and once the software build is complete, a link will be emailed to the customer to download their unique version of the software within 24 hours of payment.

New Updates for Nissan GT-R AccessPORT! Tune your car in a flash!

COBB Tuning has added three new features to the COBB Tuning Nissan GT-R AccessPORT that will revolutionize how drivers will enjoy their cars. Introducing On the Fly Map Switching, Fast Map Flashing and in-dash Knock Indicator to monitor knock in real time!
On the Fly Map Switching!
COBB Tuning has engineered a brand new way of switching maps on the fly! GT-R owners can now switch maps while driving, simply by using the factory cruise control switches on the steering wheel and see which map has been selected via the in-dash display boost gauge. Our new v300 Off-The-Shelf maps have the performance map loaded in the default slot 0 and a low-boost economy map in slot 1*. ProTuners can create map files with up to 9 different On-the-Fly selectable maps! Follow this link to watch a video of how On-The-Fly Map Switching works.
Fast Flash is Here!
The flash time required for the COBB Tuning AccessPORT to flash a new map file to the ECU has been reduced from 10 minutes to 40 seconds or less for all GT-R AccessPORTs! This enhancement dramatically improves the dyno-tuning workflow for professional tuners, as well as makes end-user flashing for different fuel grades, boost levels and security features much more convenient**. Knock Indicator
COBB Tuning’s new Knock Indicator displays knock events in real time, as they occur, on the GT-R’s in-dash display**. This is a very useful way to immediately see if a new modification is causing knock or if a local fuel quality is not as advertised. This is a critical monitor for drivers who push their GT-Rs to the limit! Follow this link to watch a video of the new Knock Indicator in action.
To use these new features, simply update the AccessPORT firmware following these Step-By-Step Instructions. In addition, all v300 OTS maps can be found in the Nissan AccessPORT Map Database.

Critical Map Fix for 2010 Ralliart AccessPORT Available Now!

Updated 2010 Lancer Ralliart AccessPORT maps are available for immediate download from COBB Tuning.com. The new v1.01 maps resolve a critical fault present in the previous v1.00 AccessPORT maps that rendered 2010 Lancer Ralliarts inoperable upon installation of the AccessPORT.
These new maps are available by direct download from the Lancer Ralliart Map Download Page and also via firmware update to be released shortly. Before installing your AccessPORT, download the desired v1.01 map and load to your AccessPORT via AccessPORT Manager.
Only 2010 Lancer Ralliart is affected by this update.
