SEMA Setup

It’s finally the eve of the SEMA show opening and fortunately everything is set up and ready. We’ve had a few surprises, such as our booth getting slightly damaged during setup (not by us, by the finely trained and experienced union workers that run the show setup). Of course not their fault, can’t imagine that ever being the case. Regardless, we’re here, we’re ready and things look great. The booth really came together nicely and all the guys kicked butt helping set up. So, on to some pictures!
First up, we had to get the Mazdaspeed3 to the designated area for Feature Vehicle setup. Fortunately, we got a prime location right up in front as people walk into the entrance.
Next up, our booth located in the Central hall a few booths over from our friend’s at Subaru. Here are a few pics of it during setup. We’ll make sure to upload more each day with progress reports of what’s happening…

Love the comment about the finely trained union workers. Those idiots have ruined their own careers and are bitching about it.
I know a local union (UAW) president who refused to sign a contract until the ladies rest room had two ply toilet paper installed and workers caught sleeping on the job were re-hired.
In my case (a show in SF, CA) they said “How much power do you need?” We said 30 amps. They said “No. Really.” We said 30 amps. They gave us 20 amps and all hell broke loose when we tried to power up.
Thanks union boys. You’ll get no sympathy from me when you’re laid off. You did it to yourselves. Practice saying “Would you like fries with that?” or “Welcome to Wal Mart”.
